I’ve been thinking about this project for about a year now and finally everything lined up this week and construction is underway! We’re still waiting on some plumbing to ship but fingers crossed everything gets in on time 🙏 rookie mistake was not unboxing all the packages and taking stock of everything that had been delivered. Sooooo I saw my book in print for the first time y Sooooo I saw my book in print for the first time yesterday, and lost it 🙈 who would have thought, seriously who would have thought that little old me who failed her woodworking class in college, who had never held a drill in her life, would write a freaking book on beginner friendly DIY and design inspiration?! This milestone is a win for all immigrants, for all muslim women, for all south asian women and anyone who’s felt like a fish out of water, whether it’s in a hardware store or in a completely new country.
