Mid Century Modern Living Room Refresh

Hello there! We’re into the second month of the new year, holiday decor has *hopefully* been stowed away and we have a fresh slate to start from.

I’m working on a mud bench update in my house as well as a room makeover for my son’s room. However, I’m always looking for inspiration for new decor ideas and I thought I’d design a mood board for an imaginary client today – someone looking for a Mid Century modern living room refresh. Not too overtly Mid century but the right mix of styles to keep it looking fresh and modern.

One of my favorite sources to look up furnishings and home decor items is AllModern.com, which is owned by the same company behind Wayfair. The only difference is the items that are curated by AllModern.com are targeted towards – you guessed it – a more modern aesthetic!
