Box Moulding and Beadboard – ORC Week 6 & 7

We are at the final stretch you guys! It’s all down to one last week and all hands are on deck at this point. I have a team helping me with installing all the woodwork and then painting the room. If you haven’t caught up yet check out the previous weeks of the One Room Challenge to see what’s happening:

Okay, so we had a delivery setback last week and are trying to play catch up since. This weekend we got started with installing the trim and the beadboard and I’m hoping to be done with it by tomorrow (including paint!) Then we will be left with the fireplace and the fun stuff (furniture, lighting, artwork).

One item that arrived way ahead of time was the Tuft & Needle Hybrid mattress. We have it in our main bedroom as well and it’s literally the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on. In our old home as well we bought a Tuft & Needle original mattress and loved it. With Hassaan’s bad back we really need to invest in a good mattress and Tuft & Needle has been our pick for several years now. I was so lucky to partner with them for the guest bedroom makeover so our house guests can also enjoy a luxuriously comfy mattress. Like the name suggests, the Hybrid mattress is a combination of the responsive support of springs as well as adaptive memory foam. We have recommended both their mattresses to friends and family and they all love it just as much as we do!
