Artwork and Fireplace Update – ORC Week 5

Okay, I’m officially panicking now because we are not at Week 5 and I still haven’t made a dent in the room 😐 *deep breaths* Here’s a look into the previous weeks if you haven’t caught up yet:

Week 1

Week 2

Week 3

Week 4

Now let me tell you what the game plan is: I am expecting the moulding to be delivered in two days. Once that comes in, I have hired help to install it which should speed things up quite a bit. I’m anticipating 3-4 days for woodworking and paint. Once that it out of the way I have to figure out the fireplace situation. I already have this beautiful Dimplex Electric fireplace in my garage, waiting to be installed.

Dimplex 36″ Revillusion Electric Fireplace from Build with Ferguson

How stunning is that you guys! Build with Ferguson generously sponsored this fireplace for the guest bedroom and I was in love with the selection they had. I had a really hard time picking just one! I love the herringbone pattern and how realistic the logs look! Build with Ferguson is pretty much a one stop shop if you’re looking to renovate yoru home. From plumbing to flooring you can find the latest styles for every room in your home. I also found a beautiful mantle on facebook marketplace that someone had made for their home but it didn’t fit. It’s a very modern, streamlined design and my plan is to paint it black and add some black marble for the surround.

I bought this mantle off of fb marketplace!

So one more success for this week has been artwork delivery! I worked with Minted to create my own custom artwork for the guest bedroom and I CANNOT wait to see everything up! Here’s a sneak peek at the beautiful artwork I got:

Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity and a note from the artist. I was able to customize each artwork to my liking by changing the size, frame, kind of print, and matting options. The framing quality and packaging is out of this world! I really appreciate good packaging and this was one of the best packaged artwork deliveries I have ever received! Here are the links to all the artwork I got:

I promise when you come back next week, there will be a lot more progress happening inside the room! Once we have the walls done everything else will come together real fast!
