One Room Challenge Week 3 – Fall 2019

Home office makeover

Verical Shiplap install

We’re into week 3 of the One Room Challenge, friends! The update of the week is: I.AM.BEHIND. lol

Here’s the current room status:

So last week when we left off, things had been moving along – desk almost done, Ikea furniture and other purchases had arrived, but this week, things were slow again. I got caught up in other projects and this took a backseat 🙁 I’ve made the IKEA drawers, the light fixture is switched out but I’m not yet done with the shiplap! The office is slowly taking over the dining room and I have junk everywhere that I need to sort through.

Current dining room situation:

We’re still using our office while I work on it – it’s anxiety headquarters right now 😐

I think I might be psyching myself out too much because there are friends who are seeing studs in the wall and drywall hasn’t even gone up so I need to be thankful with the amount of work I have left!

If you guys are interested in knowing what shiplap and lighting I used, here are the product sources again:

Shiplap, Arauco 5″x8′ boards

Liquid Nails

Light fixture

Brad Nailer

Hopefully when I check in next week I’ll have more progress to show! Until then go catch up on other One Room Challenge participants and see what they’re up to!

See you next week,

Fariha
