Happy Friday friends! Welcome to my Spring Home Tour Blog hop that I’m doing with some amazingly talented friends! Thank you from coming on over from It’s Anna’s Blog, I’m sure you enjoyed her wonderful Spring Home Tour, I’m loving all the pretty inspiration.

Before I start showing you some pretty pictures, let’s just address the giant elephant in the room. Uh, we’re all stuck at home! This is no ordinary home tour – this is the QUARANTINE home tour – which means, all bloggers involved were not able to head out to the stores to pick up any blooms or new seasonal knick knacks, we all have husbands and kids at home who, let’s face it, contribute to messes 😀 It’s not easy to keep a home mess free during these times, let alone make it pretty. However, the idea is to keep trying, keep pushing through to find some beauty in this madness. Maybe we can all find one area in our homes to decorate to make a sanctuary during these tough times, a sign of hope for better days to come. I am in no way trying to suggest that everyone needs to go and decorate their entire house for spring! Do what you can to make your home a comfortable, beautiful space that YOU enjoy being in. For you, it might be wiping down the counter with a fresh smelling cleaning solution, or having the kids pick up the dishes and tidying up. It could be picking up some pretty flowers from your front yard, or growing an herb in a small pot.

When my friends on Instagram asked me join this blog hop, I wondered how it would help everyone during this time and I thought everyone needs a dose of pretty right now. Together we can try scavenging our homes for that forgotten faux stem or a pretty table linen to lay down as we sit with our families to eat. Let us all celebrate the little things we are blessed with. With that, I’ll leave you with the small areas of Spring decor I worked on in my home with items I already had in the home.

I made this terracotta planters recently to add to my entryway console, here’s a link to the post
This is from last year, my dining room currently is a construction zone!
This DIY stool is home to a few terracotta glazed pots right now
Another spray painted terracotta planter sits on my island, along with some faux lavender stems
Can you tell I’m obsessed with terracotta and lavender this year?
The last little area I decorated was my stovetop counter with a small faux fern and my two Qurans

Don’t forget to head on over to Oh So Lovely to see what Audrey has in store for you! I hope you’re all staying home and staying safe 🙂
